Air Canada and Flydubai have partnered to form a codeshare and interline agreement, pending regulatory approval, the carriers announced Wednesday.
If approved, Air Canada’s code will be placed on nine routes operated from Dubai by Flydubai, enabling Air Canada customers to travel to these markets on a single ticket. Those destinations include Medina, Dammam, Bahrain, Jeddah and Muscat in the Middle East; Colombo, Sri Lanka; and Karachi, Pakistan. The carrier did not immediately identify the remaining two markets.
In addition, with the interline arrangement, Air Canada customers will be able to connect in Dubai to more than 60 destinations that Flydubai flies to in the Middle East, Africa and Southern Asia.
