Event booking platform Hubli has appointed former American Express executive Shane Berry as U.S. strategic advisor—a new role for the company—effective immediately, the company announced Thursday. Berry joins Hubli from apartment-style accommodation provider Mint House.
Berry spent 29 years at American Express and served as VP and general manager of the global client group. Most recently, Berry held the chief customer officer position with Mint House.
With Hubli, Berry will “help drive U.S. market growth,” and assist CEO Ciaran Delaney on the company’s North American expansion plan, the company said in a statement.
Delaney discussed the company’s plans to focus on growth and expansion this year during an interview with BTN in May.
