Renault (+156.2%), Skoda (+110.9%) spotlight market up 24.6% – Greatest Promoting Automobiles Weblog


Renault sales are up 156.2% year-on-year in May.

4,402 new cars hit Luxembourg roads in May, up 24.6% year-on-year and leading to a YTD volume up 19.2% to 21,727. Volkswagen (+16.5%) trails the market but holds onto the top spot with 11.4% share, while BMW (+39.1%) is very impressive at #2. Audi (+16%) and Mercedes (+23.5%) swap rankings vs. April to #3 and #4 respectively with Skoda (+110.9%) rounding out the Top 5. Renault (+156.2%) and Kia (+92.8%) also manage stellar year-on-year upticks in the remainder of the Top 10 whereas Opel (-9.7%) and Peugeot (-29.9%) sink. Below, notice Nissan (+159.6%), Volvo (+61.2%), Tesla (+2866.7%) and Toyota (+43.5%) all in outstanding shape.
