Tons of Future British EVs Are Coming from 2025–2030

The Bentayga is tipped to become Bentley’s first standalone EV in 2026. It will use the state-of-the-art SSP61 matrix conceived by Porsche for all of the VW Group’s premium brands. In total, CEO Adrian Hallmark has promised us five new electric Bentleys by the end of 2030. Before then, we expect to see major facelifts for the Continental GT and Flying Spur. Within the next twelve months, the V-6 hybrids are to go up in power, torque and electric range. It remains to be seen whether the even more potent V-8 hybrid confirmed for Audi and Porsche will also find its way into a Bentley. Designwise, check out the garish Batur coupe (pictured) for inspiration.

Although the Brits are still tight-lipped about their EV plans, we’re expecting not only five but perhaps even six battery-driven models. In addition to the 2026 Bentayga, the Crewe grapevine is predicting an electric Continental GT replacements in 2027 followed by a an electric Flying Spur sedan in 2028. Alternatively, the brand could position its next sedan further upmarket, thereby recreating the much loved Mulsanne. The other top-secret addition to the lineup could be a full-size luxury utility vehicle targeting the Rolls Royce Cullinan. For all of these EVs, we expect fast-charging batteries, a driving range of up to 450 miles, and a massive increase in power and torque. These new models could help boost Bentley production from 15,000 to 20,000 units a year by 2030.
