The Tesla Cybertruck has been spied disembarking from a Singapore Airlines plane in New Zealand, reportedly on its way to winter testing.
A post on Twitter by Matthew Donegan-Ryan shows the covered Cybertruck being removed from the cargo section of the aircraft.
Tesla has not confirmed what the Cybertruck is doing in New Zealand but it’s likely completing winter testing at the Southern Hemisphere Proving Ground on the South Island, used by many automakers.

CEO Elon Musk told investors that a “hand over” for the first deliveries is planned for the third quarter of 2023.
The company has previously said it aims to reach mass production for its Cybertruck during 2024.
Tesla has reportedly experienced difficulties during development of its first electric ute.
A report that dates back to January 2022 exposed flaws in the “Alpha” Cybertruck prototype including handling issues, high noise levels, and suspension and braking concerns.
Since then, the brand has been spied numerous times testing the Cybertruck around the United States, including wind tunnel testing and road testing.
About a month ago, photos of the interior were published online, which showed a minimalist dashboard with a freestanding centre infotainment screen.
Tesla released specifications for the Cybertruck on its US website in 2021, but has since removed the details.
According to the company, the Cybertruck was set to offer 800km of range, a 6.4-tonne towing capacity, and would be capable of a 2.9-second sprint to 60mp/h (96 km/h).
It was also set to offer a choice of single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual- and tri-motor all-wheel drive powertrains.
