Polestar Australia has recalled 35 examples of its 2022 Polestar 2 due to a suspension defect that could lead to a driver losing control of the vehicle.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the left front suspension ball joint may have been incorrectly attached. This may result in a loss of vehicle control,” says the brand in its recall notice.
“A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of an accident causing serious injuries or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
If you own an affected vehicle, you’ll need to contact an authorised Polestar partner to have the vehicle inspected and the work carried out, free of charge.
If you have any further questions, you can contact Polestar Customer Support on 1800 014 544.
