Spotnana has partnered with the Lufthansa Group and has direct New Distribution Capability integrations to the group’s carriers, the technology company announced Thursday. In addition, Spotnana also can support Lufthansa’s Green Fares via NDC.
The Germany-based carrier group, which includes Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Swiss, Air Dolomiti and Eurowings Discover, became an investor in Spotnana a year ago as part of the company’s $75 million Series B round, but didn’t announce it until today. Financial details were not disclosed.
The NDC direct integrations allow Spotnana to offer a “personalized booking experience, self-service changes, cancellations, comprehensive servicing and real-time global analytics on a single platform,” according to Spotnana. Travelers and agents using Spotnana now can access Lufthansa Smart Offer fares, including those exclusively available via NDC, as well as continuously priced fares.
Lufthansa follows Spotnana’s direct integrations with American Airlines and United Airlines. The news also comes a day after Spotnana and Qantas announced that the Australia-based carrier had selected Spotnana to power its Qantas Business Rewards platform.
