Consult over 50 years worth of Moldovan data here.
Data by our Central European partner CE Auto show a Moldovan market up a further 13.5% year-on-year in 2022 after growing 31% in 2021. The Dacia Duster (+14.4%) resumes the brand’s domination over the Moldovan charts after the Dacia Logan’s decade-long reign was ended by the Toyota RAV4 in 2020. Note the RAV4 (-8.3%) was still #1 year-to-date at end November but was passed in extremis by the Duster thanks to a very robust score by the latter. The Kia Sportage (-4.3%) and Suzuki Vitara (+68.7%) ensure the Top 4 is 100% composed of SUVs. The Dacia Logan (+19.9%) drops one spot to #5 despite a very solid result while the Skoda Kodiaq (+93.7%) almost doubles its sales year-on-year to #6. The Skoda Superb (#8) and Mercedes GLE (#10) are new to the Top 10 this year.
