Michael and I need a new TV. Actually we need a whole new everything. Ever since we moved back home we haven’t fully furnished our home. And I’ve been waiting for the deals! Amazon Prime day is one of the best ways to get a good deal on things you really need.
Especially when it comes to technology.

What is Amazon Prime day?
Amazon Prime Day is an annual deal event just for Prime members (which, who isn’t at this point?) that happens on July 11 & 12, delivering incredible savings on products from small businesses & top brands.
For 48 hours you can get amazing deals on all your tech needs (laptops!). And since so many of y’all have been asking about what I use, I thought I’d share my favorites from the sale.
Keep in mind, Amazon isn’t the ONLY store that’s offering deals. Walmart is too!
What do you need to shop Prime Day?
A Prime membership is required to get the Prime Day deals. For $13 per month or $120 per year you get access to Prime Day deals. You can also get a free trial here.
How to make the most out of the Prime Day sale?
Write down what you really need right now. A new laptop? A place to store your photos? Make sure to look for deal badges, you’ll see them in blue! Then take a look at my picks. As a full time blogger, I thought it might be helpful to show what I suggest purchasing and the things I have.
Amazon Prime Best Buys
Tripod – This is a Tripod Michael researched for about a YEAR. I almost lost my damn mind. Well, it’s on sale! Seriously the hours he put into researching this tripod.
Cell Phone Tripod Adapter – This is our exact tripod mount we use! It’s so nice and slips right in to the tripod above! This is how I film all my Reels and TikToks! Our tripod is here.
Samsung T7 Portable Hard Drive – Probably the most essential thing (to me!) from Amazon Prime. I actually have 2! I’ve had hard drives crash in the past. I’ve had these for years. This is how I back up all of my photos and documents and I have tens of thousands of photos. There are options for 1TB which was my first one but the 2TB is obviously double the space!
iRobot Roomba Robot Vacuum – 50% off!!! This is our exact model. Michael spent months finding this one! It’s the best out there, I’m honestly shocked how well this works. This actually self empties which is amazing and you can use your phone to turn it on even when you’re out of town! We use this feature often since we travel and keep the dogs at home with a dog sitter. She doesn’t ever have to worry about cleaning. It even programs itself to different rooms and layouts of your house. For example, we will just do hardwoods or carpets. It’s honestly the best buy of the sale!
Columbia Hiking Boots – These are my exact hiking boots I’ve had for years! 25% off I’m in SHOCK. This is hands down one of the best deals! My exact hiking boots!!!
Samsung Frame TV – This is an insane deal! Was $1,397.99 now on sale for $979.99. Really is a great TV, Samsung is the best and the fact that you can change the picture to make it look like an image or a painting is game changing!
Samsung 75 Inch TV – This is our TV and it’s so good! Was $3,497.99, on sale for $2,702.99. The screen is huge and also has anti glare and Alexa built in! Not cheap, but it’s something you’ll have for years and years.
Reebok Tennis Shoes – I HAVE LITERALLY NEVER SEEN THESE SO LOW! $25, normally $65!! Hands down, my most worn shoes. I buy a new pair every 6 months. These have traveled all over the USA and Europe and beyond with these! Currently wearing at the airport on my way to Scotland! I wear a 7.5. As you can see mine are well worn!
Apple Watch – I am honestly SHOCKED this is on sale!! It’s $120 off! This is an awesome deal. I’ve had mine since last year and I adore it!
Hydro Flask – These are amazing! We have had ours for years. Keeps water cold for so long!
Embark Dog DNA Test – fun for people with mutts, but also useful since they do disease testing (Michael specifically sent me this!
Kitchenaid Mixer – Had ours for over 10 years!! (Since we got married!)

Canon EOS M6– This Canon camera is what tons of my friends have as it’s so light and easy to use! Takes beautiful pictures and videos. Great for vlogging!
256 GB Memory card – This is one of the largest memory cards out there! I wish I had this on my New England Trip since I filled up my 65 GB Sandisk memory card so fast. I purchased this immediately!
Camera Lenses – You can save on camera lenses as well right now! As for lenses, I recommend this Nikon wide angle lens and this great prime lens that’s beautiful for portraits and up close shots. Here are some photos I’ve taken with each:
DJI Mavic Mini Drone – $100 off – If you’re in the market for a drone now is the time to buy! We just bought a drone and Michael is learning how to use it!
Best Amazon Prime Tech Buys:
Samsung T7 Portable SSD 2TB hard drive – This is my NUMBER one recommendation on what to buy for Prime Day. I have had mine for years and it the best external hard drive I’ve ever used. And I know, I’ve had others and nothing can compare. This is a 2 TB, solid state drive that is so great for people who take a lot of photos.
Ring Home Security – This was my first buy for Prime day for 20212! The deal is nearly 50% off and this can also sync with your Alexa!
Anker Power Bank – Was $169.99, now $89.99. I’m a HUGE fan of this brand. I have a lot of products from them. To me, the quality is comparable to Apple but because it’s not a “name brand” it’s much cheaper. This is a great deal on the power bank! I know there are tons on sale, but this brand is tried and trusted for me.
Roku Streaming Stick+ media player – $29, usually $39. – This is a handy way to watch TV, we have one and love it.
Alexa Echo (4th Gen) – $59.99, Was $99.99. This is a deal just too good to pass us.
Anker Earbuds – $29.99, was $69.99. I need y’all to know that I adore these. Earbuds hurt my ears. Not these. They has Astria coaxial Acoustic architecture. I actually lost one and bought this exact set again. This is so good!

Olaplex – Was $30, now $24! I am socking up. Olaplex is my all time favorite and I swear by it! So excited to see this on sale. I purchased 3!

One-Step Hair Dryer – was $42.49, now $33.99, save 25%! This is my MOST used hair tool. I’ve talked about it for a while now and so excited to see it on sale.

It Cosmetics CC Cream – My Favorite foundation! I’m in shade “Light” save 40% off! I’ve actually never seen it this low. Also trying this IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream!
Grande Lash Serum – This is what I use on my eyelashes to make them long and I’ve NEVER seen it on sale!
Also, my CrestWhite Strips are on sale! I use these twice a year to whiten my teeth.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask – $16.80 was $24.00. I’ve had my pot of this chapstick for over a year. I haven’t found a better one! I put this on every single night before bed and keep one by my laptop to put on during the day. Also makes a great gift!
