Ford (+144.4%), Renault (+103.3%) shine in market up 36.8% – Finest Promoting Vehicles Weblog


Renault Kwid sales shoot up in New Caledonia in July.

New car sales in New Caledonia climb 36.8% year-on-year in July to 926 units, leading to a year-to-date tally down -3.3% to 4,723. Both Toyota (+33.9%) and Dacia (+35.6%) can’t quite match the market growth but hold a 32.5% combined share. Ford (+144.4%) and Renault (+103.3%) shoot up below, whereas Peugeot (-21.3%) struggles at #5. Isuzu (+450%), Mitsubishi (+411.1%) and Nissan (+288.9%) post surreal gains further down the charts.

Over in the models lane, the Toyota Hilux (+84.4%) is ultra dominant with 9% share, followed by the Ford Ranger (+144.4%) and Dacia Duster (-30.5%). The Toyota Raize is up 600% to #4, equal with the new Toyota Yaris Cross. The Isuzu D-Max (+416.7%) and Dacia Sandero follow, while the Renault Kwid is up a spectacular 2500% at #8. The Suzuki Swift (-31.3%) and Toyota Yaris (-42.1%) close out the Top 10 in paltry fashion.
