Ingredients in a Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
- Banana – Sliced and frozen.
- Milk – Choose any type of milk you prefer. I used almond milk.
- Peanut Butter – Creamy or crunchy, whatever you have on hand.
- Greek Yogurt – Gives this recipe creamy texture and richer flavor.
- Honey – For sweetness.
- Whipped Cream – optional
- Mini Chocolate Chips – for garnish
How to make a PB Smoothie
Combine the frozen banana, milk, peanut butter, Greek yogurt and honey.
Blend until smooth. Pour into glass.
Garnish with whipped cream, mini chocolate chips and a few banana slices. Serve with a straw and enjoy!
My favorite blender is my Vitamix blender. My favorite (more affordable) option is this Ninja blender.
Tips for Making
- If you want to reduce the calories in your smoothie, use PB2 instead of peanut butter. It’s really good—I use it often in smoothies and chocolate desserts.
- If you don’t like the flavor of Greek yogurt, substitute for vanilla yogurt.
- Top with peanut butter chips for an even more perfect smoothie than mine—augh!
