Condor Airlines, beginning May 17, 2024, will add nonstop
seasonal service between Frankfurt, Germany, and San Antonio, Texas, the
Germany-based carrier announced Thursday. The route will be the first time San
Antonio has a nonstop flight to and from Europe, San Antonio mayor Ron
Nirenberg said in a statement.
The route will operate three times weekly using Airbus
A330-900neo aircraft and accommodate 310 passengers with 30 lie-flat seats in
business class, 64 seats in premium economy and 216 seats in economy, according
to the carrier.
Earlier this month, Condor announced that next May it also
would begin service between Miami and Frankfurt, operating three times weekly
also using Airbus A330-900neo aircraft in a similar configuration as for the
San Antonio flights. The only difference is that there will be 26 lie-flat
business seats and four “Prime seats” with space for two.
