For example, round-trip flights from Chicago’s Midway International Airport (MDW) to LaGuardia Airport (LGA) are available for as low as $110, with one-way flights starting at $50.
Rapid Rewards redemptions are discounted as well. You’ll save 50% off the regular award rate before the mandatory September 11 Security Fee. The same flight can be booked for 6,222 Rapid Rewards points plus $11.20 in taxes and fees.

This sale is for one-way and round-trip Wanna Get Away and Wanna Get Away Plus fares; both include two free checked bags and two carry-on items. Both are refundable and can be canceled up to 10 minutes before departure for free changes. Wanna Get Away fares also include free inflight entertainment and messaging.
Travelers can apply the discount code to any route Southwest flies — including flights from Los Angeles to Hawaii.

This sale is even more appealing for Southwest travelers with a Companion Pass since a friend or family member can join you on your discounted flights for just the cost of taxes and fees.
If you’ve already booked travel for this fall and early spring, it may be worth re-pricing your reservations as well. Southwest doesn’t apply change fees, so you can change your existing flights; also, if the fare is now lower as part of this sale, you’ll receive a credit for the difference.
