A 2022 Information to Holidays at Peddler’s Village — Go to Philadelphia

The Experience

Holiday magic abounds each year at Lahaska’s Peddler’s Village, located about an hour’s drive north of Center City Philadelphia.

The most festive season of the year arrives with Holidays at Peddler’s Village.

For 2022, guests are invited to stroll the village grounds, where more than 1 million twinkling lights decorate the quaint shops and trees in a spectacular display.

On Friday, November 18, 2022, the Holidays at Peddler’s Village heat up starting with the Gingerbread Competition & Display. The annual display of 100-plus gingerbread creations — made and submitted by residents, groups and bakeries from all over the mid-Atlantic region — is free to take in at the Visitor and Event Center through January 8, 2023.

Later that same evening at 6:15 p.m. 1 million holiday lights are switched on by Santa & Mrs. Claus during the Grand Illumination celebration. This event is also free and features music and dance performances by local groups and sing-alongs with Santa. The lights remain lit for awe-inspiring strolles every evening through January 15, 2023.

And how about Santa Claus? The big man’s visits begin on November 19, 2022, while Holly Jolly Weekend (December 3–4, 2022) features two parades led by Santa. And Jolly Old St. Nick also makes appearances at breakfasts at the Cock ‘n Bull restaurant on December 17, 2022.
