A brand new villain present will debut at Disney World in 2025

Something wicked this way comes … to Disney’s Hollywood Studios next summer.

On Tuesday, Disney announced that an all-new live production will be staged in the Sunset Boulevard area of Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the enchantingly evil new show will take guests into the “mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror,” the mystical object made famous in “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

The show will feature dozens of devious Disney villains and include appearances by baddies like Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent as they break through the Magic Mirror and take the stage for live performances.

The news comes just weeks after Disney announced during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event that preparation is already underway for an entire land devoted to Disney villains at the Magic Kingdom. It’ll be years before anyone steps foot into this nightmarish new land, but Disney is giving fans a taste of what’s to come with the addition of the villain-themed show at Hollywood Studios next summer.

The show will be housed inside the Sunset Showcase Theater behind Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. The theater is currently home to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, a theater show with an animatronic version of Lightning McQueen at center stage. Several of his racing buddies, including Tow Mater and Cruz Ramirez, can be seen cheering him on from video screens surrounding the stage.

If you love Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, you have until Oct. 7 to see the show before it races away for good.

Parents especially love Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy because it gives younger kids something to do while big kids and adults ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster or the nearby Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. But there’s no need to fear: This stage show shouldn’t have a height requirement and will still likely be fun for young ones, with music from favorite Disney films like “101 Dalmatians,” “Aladdin” and “Peter Pan.”
