Air France to Provide Paris Lounge Suites, Concierge Service

Air France in July, just prior to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, will launch at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport a new dedicated check-in lobby for La Première first-class guests, which will feature 15 seats and two private lounges, the carrier announced Monday. The lobby lounges are reserved for passengers enrolled in La Première’s “suites” option.

The lobby also can be accessed by La Première passengers arriving at the airport post-flight, according to Air France.

There also will be a dedicated lounge for La Première passengers with a menu and wine selection created by chef Alain Ducasse and his team, spa and beauty treatments operated by Sisley, and three adjacent new suites, each about 500 square feet, that can be reserved, beginning at €800 (US$870). Each suite will have a dedicated butler, a living area, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom and an outdoor patio.

Air France starting June 11 also will offer new concierge service at Paris Charles de Gaulle. The Air France Conciergerie departure service include a private transfer to the airport if within 40 kilometers (about 25 miles), concierge assistance upon arrival outside the terminal, porter service to take baggage to a dedicated check-in counter and assistance through the airport’s priority lanes, to the lounge for eligible customers and to the boarding gate, according to the carrier.

For arrivals, a concierge will meet customers at the door of the aircraft and accompany them through the airport’s priority lanes. Once baggage has been collected, they will be led to a vehicle for a private transfer. Connecting passengers will be accompanied from the jetway to the lounge for eligible customers, then to the boarding gate for their next flight through priority lanes.

For departing or transferring passengers, the concierge service also will offer access to one of the airline’s lounges for non-eligible customers. They will then be accompanied from the lounge to the gate.

Rates for the concierge services start at €300 per person, depending on the services selected.
