To ring in 2024, budget airline Play Airlines is offering a great deal on many of its flights from cities like Washington, Boston and New York to various cities in Europe for half the price.
You’ll need to act fast. Travelers can book round-trip flights on the Icelandic carrier starting at $293 through midnight Saturday.

The advertised flights are for Play’s basic fare type, which allows travelers to carry on one small personal item that can fit underneath the seat in front of them, such as a backpack or purse. These items cannot exceed 17 by 18 by 10 inches or 22 pounds. Fees for full-size carry-on bags start at $43, and checked bags start at $51, along with additional change, cancellation and seat fees.
Remember to account for these extra charges that come with a budget carrier. Also, note that all Play flights from the U.S. route through Iceland’s Keflavik International Airport (KEF).
