Alaska Airlines has expanded its partnership with British Airways to enable its customers to purchase nonstop BA flights to London on the Alaska website for flights beginning June 18, the carrier announced Tuesday.
The BA routes available for purchase on the Alaska site include those between London Heathrow and each Chicago, Los Angeles, New York (John F. Kennedy International Airport), Portland, Ore., San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle, according to Alaska.
Starting later this year, customers also will be able to purchase Alaska flights connecting to British Airways, as well as flights beyond London on BA. When booking a BA flights on Alaska, Mileage Plan members can earn 100 percent of the eligible miles they fly, according to Alaska. In addition, Mileage Plan members can redeem their miles for flights on British Airways.
Each carrier is part of the Oneworld airline alliance.
