Lufthansa Group has named Amadeus CFO Till Streichert to the position of CFO of the airline group, Lufthansa announced Monday. He will assume his duties on Sept. 15. Current Lufthansa CFO Remco Steenbergen will depart the company on May 7, and Lufthansa executive board member Michael Niggemann will assume the role in the interim, according to Lufthansa.
Streichert, in addition to working at Amadeus, has a more than 20-year career with prior positions at companies including T-Mobile in the U.K., the Boston Consulting Group, Vodafone Romania and Vodacom South Africa, according to Lufthansa.
