Air Canada and Amadeus have signed a new multi-year agreement that includes Air Canada’s New Distribution Capability content, the carrier announced Thursday.
Air Canada will use Altéa NDC, Amadeus’ IT NDC solution, to provide its full range of NDC-sourced content through the Amadeus Travel Platform. The carrier’s traditional content on EDIFACT still will be available to sellers and corporations that use the Amadeus Travel Platform, according to Air Canada.
“For buyers and travelers, this means their preferred agency, whether a local independent or large travel management provider, will be able to offer a broader range of rich Air Canada content, travel options and services via the Amadeus Travel Platform at the most competitive prices,” the carrier’s SVP of products, marketing and e-commerce Mark Nasr said in a statement.
