Corporate travel AI automation platform Amgine has launched a booking platform capable of providing travelers or agents travel options via queries in a variety of channels, the company announced.
The Amgine Automated Booking Tool processes travelers’ text-based requests through channels including email, Slack and text and generates itinerary options to agents or directly to travelers within minutes, according to the company. It is able to integrate to a travel management company’s online booking tool along with other TMC workflow management systems via API, so it can perform searches in the TMC’s reservation system and provide results as a single data set.
“The ability to automatically service all the different request types received from travelers in one unified platform hasn’t been achieved by anyone in the industry, until now,” Amgine CEO Greg Apple said in a statement. “In addition to using AI to solve one of the biggest areas of frustration for corporate travel, we also understand the complexities of the industry and have deep integrations with the [global distribution system] and the PNR layer so we can help TMCs modernize their tech stacks and better service their corporate customers.”
The booking platform can integrate policy rules to ensure compliance, and agents also can modify pre-recommended itinerary options, according to Amgine.
Amgine has made the booking platform available for TMCs to license globally, and TMCs also can white-label the platform and offer it as their own solution to customers. Duluth, Ga.-based Travel Inc. has been among the first to deploy the platform as a solution to corporate clients, Amgine said.
“We’ve seen efficiency improvements both for our team and our customers of up to 160 percent,” Travel Inc. head of product Eric Almond said in a statement. “This is not insignificant given the volume of travel requests we process on any given day.”
