The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in The Philippines – La Cámara recently celebrated its first La Fiesta, a business networking dinner among its members and the expat community in Metro Manila. Held at the Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar Restaurant in Quezon City, the event featured the Spanish region of Extremadura. It showcased its culinary specialties through the Alimentos de Extremadura and Chefs Carlos Garcia and Francisco Romero.
Anya Resort Tagaytay, an active member of the La Camara which promotes Filipino culture and Spanish heritage across its properties, was one of the event’s gold sponsors.
A seven-hectare landscaped property in the mountain resort city, it boasts of well-appointed suites, world-class recreational amenities, fitness center, the luxe Niyama Wellness Center, and Samira, a fine dining restaurant by Chef Chele Gonzalez. It is also a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, a prestigious international group of luxe boutique accommodations.
“Anya Resort Tagaytay operates on the philosophy of the 3R’s: relax, rejuvenate and reward which we strive to extend to every guest we welcome and serve with the familiar warmth of Filipino hospitality,” says Anya Resort Tagaytay general manager and Spanish hotelier Mikel Arriet.
The resort is part of the Anya Hospitality Group (AHG), which manages Club Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Batangas, the country’s first marina residential resort and yacht club, the adjacent Amara Residences, and several franchise branches of Go Hotels in Metro Manila.
