U.K.-based travel management company ATPI has formed a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia-based Arjaa Travel as part of an effort to broaden its presence in the Middle East, the TMC announced.
Arjaa Travel is the business travel sector of Saudi Arabia’s Almajdouie Group, and ATPI will tap its regional expertise and service to complement its technology and customer support offerings, according to ATPI. As partners, the firms in particular will target companies in the energy sector that are exploring expansion in the Middle East, supporting them with logistics, visa services, cost optimization, compliance and reporting.
“ATPI offer a unique service offering in all locations across the [Gulf Cooperation Council] overcoming differing requirements associated with technology, payment, tax and localization providing a streamlined future proof travel offering unlike anyone operating in the business travel sector,” ATPI Middle East managing director Lynn Coutts said in a statement.
The collaboration also fits in with Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030” strategy to grow tourism and business in the country, according to the Almajdouie Group.
