Opel sales are up 44.1% in a market down -15.7%
Handicapped by the aftereffects of the earthquake that hit the country, the Moroccan new light vehicle market sinks -15.7% year-on-year in September to 11,713 units. This includes 10,116 Passenger Cars (-15.2%) and 1,597 Light Commercials (-18.9%). The year-to-date PC volume is down -1.5% to 106,088. In the PC brands ranking, Dacia (-18%) continues to loosen its grip on the ranking with yet another deep fall, although this month Renault (-29.4%) fares even worse. Hyundai (-15.2%) matches the market at #3. Audi (+64.4%), Opel (+44.1%), Volkswagen (+13.5%) and Kia (+4.5%) go against the market with year-on-year gains in the remainder of the Top 10.
