Audi sales are up 56.9% in a market down -36.3%.
The Singaporean new car market is hit a harsh -36.3% year-on-year in January. Toyota (-26.3%) improves its share to 21.3%, just above its FY 2022 level of 20.7%. Mercedes (-21.7%) does better at #2 with 20.5% share vs. 17% over FY2022. BMW (-45.2%) implodes at #3 as does Honda (-45.4%) at #4. Mazda (-29.1%) resists somewhat and edges up one spot on December to #5 overall. Audi (+56.9%), Opel (+100%) and BYD (+58.1%) all swim upstream with fantastic year-on-year upticks. Below, Peugeot (+64.3%) and Skoda (+15%) are the only additional gainers in the remainder of the ranking.
