Audi, Tesla impress in market up 27.3% – Finest Promoting Vehicles Weblog


Audi sales are up 75.5% year-on-year in Belgium.

36,798 new cars hit Belgium roads in August, a splendid 27.3% year-on-year improvement that leads to a year-to-date volume up 34.1% to 335,942. Volkswagen (+43.7%) is the best-selling brand for the 2nd time in the past 3 months and the third time this year (add February). The German carmaker holds 11.6% share for the month vs. 11% for BMW (+38.7%) which however easily remains the top seller year-to-date. Audi (+75.5%) posts a fantastic gain at #3 whereas Mercedes (-3.8%) and Peugeot (-20.1%) are in difficulty below. Renault (+68.5%), Skoda (+48.7%) and Kia (+35.9%) also beat the market while Tesla (+2408.3%) scores a surreal gain to get back inside the Top 10 at #10.

Previous month: Belgium July 2023: BMW #1, Volvo (+149.3%) and Renault (+101.1%) shine in market up 32.5%

One year ago: Belgium August 2022: Volkswagen #1 for the first time in almost a year, market up 7%
