Colombia-based carrier Avianca this year will revive 10 seasonal direct routes between Latin America and the United States, the carrier announced Thursday.
The carrier in June will add four nonstop routes from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport: Cartagena, Colombia (four times weekly beginning June 2); San Pedro Sula, Honduras (thrice-weekly beginning June 3); Pereira, Colombia (four times weekly beginning June 13); and Cali, Colombia (thrice-weekly beginning June 19).
Avianca on June 2 will add four-times-weekly service between Cali and Miami, then on June 18 will add a second flight that will operate three times weekly.
From Orlando, Avianca on June 2 will start four-times-weekly direct service to San Salvador, El Salvador and on June 14 add direct service to Medellín, Colombia, three times weekly. The carrier on June 18 will add a second Orlando-Medellín flight, which also will operate three times weekly.
On June 1, Avianca will begin four-times-weekly direct service between Washington, D.C. and San José, Costa Rica, as well as thrice-weekly service between San Salvador and Las Vegas. On June 2, the carrier will launch service between San Salvador and Las Vegas, which it will operate three times weekly.
