Avianca to ‘Renew’ Enterprise-Class Expertise

Avianca Airlines has renamed and added new features to its business class product, the carrier announced Thursday.

Avianca Insignia has replaced the Executive Cabin on its double-aisle Boeing 787 aircraft on routes between Bogota and Europe. The cabin offers flatbed seats, beverages and meals, blankets and mattress pads. Passengers also will receive an amenity kit with cases designed by Mola Sasa in collaboration with the Gunadule indigenous community made from recycled PET bottle fabric, as well as products of beauty brand Loto del Sur.

Beginning July 1, a new version of business class also will be available on Avianca’s single-aisle Airbus A320 aircraft on flights between Bogota and 11 destinations “on the American continent,” including flights to Miami, Washington, D.C., New York, Boston and Toronto. The cabin will offer a main meal, drinks, snack service, blanket, pillow and amenity kit.
