BMW‘s best-seller, the X3, is the latest model from the Bavarian brand to get a special edition Sport model.
The BMW X3 xDrive30i Sport takes the regular xDrive30i, priced at $97,900 before on-roads, and adds a range of features and a price tag of $109,900 drive-away.
Just 350 examples are coming to Australia, with customer deliveries beginning this month.
Over the regular xDrive30i, the Sport adds:
- Panoramic glass sunroof
- 16-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system
- Heated front seats with lumbar support
- Metallic paint
It also features unique 20-inch light alloy wheels in Orbit Grey, while exterior finishes are limited to M Carbon Black, Mineral White or M Brooklyn Grey.
As with the regular xDrive30i, the following equipment is standard:
- M Sport package
- Adaptive suspension
- Vernasca leather upholstery
- Head-up display
- 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
- 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- Comfort Access
- Power tailgate
- Power-adjustable front seats with memory
It uses the same turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine as the regular xDrive30i, producing 185kW of power and 350Nm of torque. It’s mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
BMW has previously given the 1 Series, 2 Series and 3 Series and the X1 and X2 SUVs the special edition Sport treatment in 2022, with drive-away pricing, a revised spec list, and a limited colour palette.
Unlike most of these special editions, the X3 xDrive30i Sport retains the M Sport package.
