Direct Travel alum Tom Bowser has joined ATG at VP business development
the company announced late last week. Bowser brings with him deep knowledge of
complex corporate travel structures and the strategies required to build and
maintain them. ATG called out Bowser’s history of understanding customer
requirements and aligning them with “actual capabilities, footpritn and vision
of the travel management company. In his new role, he will concentrate on acquiring
local, multinational and global corporate customers seeking progressive travel
solutions.
“Buyers can now partner with a TMC that truly shares their
vision, culture, global requirements and has the desire to build truly
customized solutions. … ATG Travel Worldwide is a champion of this approach,”
said Bowser.
ATG has also appointed Tamara O’Flynn as director of human
resources for ATG – The Americas. Prior to her new role, O’Flynn served for 17 years
as the benefits and employment manager for BMW financial services. She also
worked as a senior corporate recruiter at Nationwide Insurance and as a sales
and underwriting representative for State Auto Insurance.
