Budget startup Breeze Airways put more than 50 nonstop routes on sale for fall and winter travel. One-way fares start at just $39, and routes cover much of the East Coast and some destinations in the South, Midwest and West.

For example, if you want to fly from Charleston to New Orleans, you can score a $39 departing flight in October.
The $39 price applies to the Nice fare. The airline also offers Nicer and Nicest fares (though Nicest is unavailable on this flight).
The return flight a week later is also just $39.
Although the flights are cheap, they only include a personal item. If you want to bring a carry-on or a checked bag, you’ll incur an extra fee.
You can change or cancel your flight up to 15 minutes before departure, and there are no fees to do so. All of Breeze’s tickets are nonrefundable. However, if you cancel, you’ll receive up to 24 months of reusable flight credit.
