Chevrolet #1, Suzuki (+115.9%) impresses in market up 17.8% – Greatest Promoting Vehicles Weblog


Suzuki sales more than double year-on-year in November.

5,506 new light vehicles hit Uruguayan roads in November, a 17.8% year-on-year increase. This leads to a year-to-date tally up 9.4% to 51,968. Chevrolet (+63.2%) vastly outpaces the market to cement its domination in the brands rankin with a stellar 21.1% share vs. 17.9% year-to-date. Fiat (+20.6%) stays in 2nd place above Renault (+22.2%). At #4, Suzuki (+115.9%) delivers the largest year-on-year gain in the Top 12. Volkswagen (-10.4%), Hyundai (-33.2%), Peugeot (-12%) and Toyota (-4.7%) disappoint whereas Nissan (+69.6%) and BYD (+59.1%) impress. Honda (+131.3%), BMW (+122.7%), Chery (+98.1%) and Mercedes (+76.7%) shine below.
