Suzuki is #2 year-to-date in Uruguay.
The Uruguayan new light vehicle market climbs 15.6% year-on-year in July to 4,651 sales, leading to a year-to-date volume up 5.5% to 30,883. Chevrolet (+49.5%) easily holds onto the top spot of the brands ranking with 20.8% share vs. 16.2% year-to-date. Like last month, it distances Suzuki (+1302.3%) up spectacularly year-on-year at 13% share vs. 11% so far this year. #3 a year ago, Hyundai (-0.2%) edges down to #4 vs. #7 YTD. Fiat (+38.3%) also manages a splendid score at #4 and accesses the third spot YTD. Renault (-24.2%) and Volkswagen (-43.2%) both struggle below, whereas Citroen (+53.1%) and Peugeot (+18.7%) shine. Further down, notice Chery (+129%), Ford (+59.1%), BMW (+79.4%) and Honda (+100%) making waves.
