Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda, leveled
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2/3 cup of light brown sugar
1/3 cup of canola oil
1 large egg
1/3 cup of milk
½ teaspoons of vanilla
1 cup of quick oats, uncooked
½ cup of chopped walnuts
½ cup of grated coconut flakes
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, soda and salt.
- Add the sugar, oil, egg, milk, and vanilla next and beat with electric mixer until smooth. This takes about two minutes.
- Stir and blend in the oats, nuts and coconut nuts.
- Spread into a greased 7 x 11-inch baking pan.
- Bake in a 350-degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Cool and cut into bars.
