Visa and passport service provider CIBT has hired former Amazon immigration advisor Elizabeth Kumbhari as VP for client relationship management for Americas immigration, the company announced. Kumbhari will be working to grow the client base at both CIBT and its Newland Chase subsidiary, which focuses on global immigration strategies and advisory services for corporations. She most recently was Amazon’s business advisory leader in Canada and Latin America for global immigration and business mobility services and previously was general counsel and VP of professional exchange programs for Cultural Vistas, a nonprofit that facilitates programs and services for international visitors to the U.S. as well as American students and professionals traveling abroad.
