Cloudbreak, Seattle’s #ReviveLive Music Fest—launched on Thursday, November 3 with a fantastic show at El Corazón headlined by the legendary Sir Mix-A-Lot, who was also honored by the Seattle Mayor, King County Executive, and music advocates who helped preserve independent venues in Washington State. The festival rolls on through November 23 with shows featuring artists in diverse genres and at stages all across the city—in Beacon Hill, the Central District, Columbia City, Downtown, Belltown, Fremont, Capitol Hill, Ballard, and more.

But wait, there’s more! Coinciding with Cloudbreak is the 10th anniversary year of Freakout Festival, running November 10-13 at seven stages in the Ballard neighborhood. This festival is an amazing success story, growing from humble beginnings to this year’s event featuring more than 70 performances by artists from Seattle, the Northwest, the US, and the world. Some of the shows featuring Seattle artists are included in Cloudbreak access, so check that schedule!
2022 global headliners include a special two-night run with legendary 1960’s Brazilian band Os Mutantes along with sets by Isobel Campbell of Belle & Sebastian, Los Saicos, featuring Peruvian garage-rock legend Papi Saico, indie-psych outfit Futurebirds, and South African rockers BLK JKS.
A new Freakout in the Streets will take place daily during the festival on 20th Avenue outside the main stage at Salmon Bay Eagles Club. Here you’ll find a tented beer garden and VIP lounge for VIP festival pass holders, food trucks, Freakout’s main box office and merch, as well as a stage featuring outstanding local artists and local DJs including: Eldridge Gravy and The Court Supreme, Spirit Award, Smokey Brights, Shaina Shepherd, Monsterwatch, Smoker Dad, Talaya, and more. Admission to Freakout in the Streets is FREE, 21+ and open from 3pm-10pm daily during the festival November 10-13.
