Coupa Software CEO Rob Bernshteyn has left the company, and board chair Charles Goodman has stepped in as interim CEO, the company announced.
Bernshteyn has led Coupa for 14 years and “helped Coupa catapult from a small start-up to a leading enterprise software franchise,” Goodman said in a statement. Last year, the business spend management platform entered the travel booking space with the launch of a travel booking module built from its acquisition of Pana. Coupa also acquired business travel price assurance technology Yapta in 2020, which it now offers as its Travel Saver tool. The company went private in February when it was acquired by software investment firm Thomas Bravo.
Bernshteyn in a statement said Goodman “brings extensive experience in guiding software companies through different stages of transition, leaving Coupa in good hands.”
