Meetings management platform provider Cvent on Friday
appointed former SAP EVP Andreas Heckmann to the newly formed role of chief
customer officer. He will lead Cvent’s global 1,500-plus client services
organization.
In Heckmann’s most recent role at SAP, he led a global team
of more than 10,000 customer service and development employees, driving
record-setting results in both customer satisfaction and operating margins,
according to a Cvent release.
Upon the announcement, Cvent CEO and founder Reggie Aggarwal
praised Heckmann’s “proven track record of building and scaling customer-centric
teams in the cloud-based software space.”
