CWT has added new artificial intelligence capabilities to its Analytics reporting tool, allowing users to search by natural language rather than keyword phrases, the travel management company announced.
Powered by AI technology provider ThoughtSpot, users can ask questions—CWT as examples gave inquiries on carbon emissions for international flights for travelers in Germany, online adoption progress in India or a list of travelers in a certain location—and Analytics will be able to interpret them and provide answers from real-time booking data. Users can specify a format for the data in their query, such as a table or graph.
Analytics also can analyze users’ Liveboards, the interactive dashboards available on the Analytics solution, and provide summaries of trends and unexpected changes, according to CWT.
Adding those capabilities “revolutionizes how our customers interact with their travel data,” CWT chief product officer Erica Antony said in a statement. “By enabling natural language queries, we simplify the process of uncovering critical insights, allowing businesses to make informed decisions swiftly and confidently.”
In addition, CWT is enabling users to provide feedback on search results to train the model better for future searches, according to the TMC.
