CWT is tapping Traxo’s Filter technology to offer clients capabilities of capturing off-channel booking, the travel management company announced.
Traxo’s Filter can identify email confirmations of bookings across more than 1,000 suppliers in a company’s server and convert them to usable data for travel management systems. CWT is using that technology in a new solution for clients to manage bookings made outside CWT and currently is putting together a pilot group of clients for the feature.
“Filling this data gap is important for a number or reason including understanding program leakage, enhanced safety and security information and accurately calculating carbon emissions,” CWT VP of product management Charlie Sullivan said in a statement. “Our partnership with Traxo solves for this, by capturing out-of-channel booking data and eliminating critical gaps in trip spend and itinerary data.”
Traxo works with multiple TMCs, including American Express Global Business Travel, which announced a pilot with a large client late last year. Fox World Travel was the first TMC to adopt Traxo’s tool in 2020, and Traxo announced deals with both Advantage Travel Partnership and Win Global Travel Network in the U.K. shortly after that.
