Delectable Chocolate Nut Pie: An Simple Recipe to Bask in

Rich and buttery, this delicious chocolate nut pie is any chocolate lover’s dream with dark chocolate chips and walnuts that is irresistible and will test even someone with the best willpower from overindulging. This sinfully good pie is also so incredibly easy with only four steps before you can have it ready to serve. Therefore, let me share my chocolate nut pie recipe as well as some tips and variations for bringing it to its full glory.

Tips to Make the Best Pie Ever

Use my easy and foolproof oil pie crust recipe for great results. This is the only pie crust recipe I use for pot pies, dessert pies, quiche, and tarts because it never fails. Even if you can’t bake a homemade pie crust, this is the recipe that you want. However, you can use your favorite pie crust or a commercial packaged crust.

Cool the melted butter before mixing it with the eggs to avoid the eggs from curdling.

This pie will appear dark due to the chocolate melting throughout it. If you want to keep the edges of the crust getting too dark, you have the option of covering the edges with foil.

Recipe Variations for This Chocolate Walnut Pie

Change the nuts to pecans or even peanuts for a tasty new pie creation.

You can also add 1/4 cup of bourbon or rum to this recipe for an intriguing twist. Feel free to keep the vanilla in or eliminate it, but both ways are sensational.

Alternate the chips you use is another interesting option that turns out a fantastic flavor of this nutty chocolate pie. Try milk chocolate chips, mint chocolate chips, semi-sweet or even butterscotch produces an awesome pie.

You can top this pie with whipped cream. Nonetheless, I warn you that doing so and you won’t be able to stop at one piece for heightening its awesome flavor.

Give my chocolate pie a try and please share the recipe with your family and friends because it really is a special one. Do come back to my blog for more great home-tested recipes such as chocolate cream pie from my kitchen to yours along with other helpful posts to better your life in general.
