Delta, Latam to Add S. American Int’l Service


Delta Air Lines and Latam later this year will add service on four routes between South American destinations and Atlanta and Miami as part of the carriers’ joint venture agreement, the carriers announced Friday. 

Latam Airlines Columbia on Oct. 29 will launch daily service between Miami and Medellín, Colombia, on Airbus 320 aircraft equipped with premium economy and economy cabins.

Latam Airlines Peru on Oct. 29 will launch three-times weekly service—Wednesday, Friday and Sunday—between Atlanta and Lima on Boeing 767 aircraft with premium business, Latam Plus and economy cabins, joining existing daily Delta service on the route. 

Delta on Dec. 22 will launch three-times weekly service—also Wednesday, Friday and Sunday—between Atlanta and Cartagena, Colombia, on Boeing 737 aircraft with first-class, Delta Comfort Plus and main cabin service. 

Delta on Oct. 29 will launch a second daily flight between Atlanta and Bogotá, Colombia, on Boeing 757 aircraft with first-class, Delta Comfort Plus and main cabin service.
