Delta Air Lines has opened a new Sky Club at North Carolina’s Charlotte Douglas International Airport, its first in the airport.
The 14,165-sq.-ft. lounge has a capacity of 246 and is in Charlotte’s Concourse A, which opened a $241 million expansion in September. Club features include a food buffet, two beverage stations and a quiet area with six soundproof booths, one of which is designed for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
While Charlotte is not a hub for Delta, the carrier “continues to strengthen its presence” there, with daily service to seven of its hubs from the airport, according to the company.
