Delta Air Lines on Aug. 23 relocated to Terminal A from Terminal B at Newark Liberty International Airport, and with the move has opened a new Delta Sky Club, the carrier announced Wednesday.
The 7,000-sq.-ft. space seats more than 200 guests, 50 more than the capacity of the former Terminal B club, and offers views of Terminal A and the airfield, according to Delta. The lounge is an open-air space, but features “several acoustic systems designed to absorb the outside sounds of the airport.” There’s a premium bar, beverage station, buffet, four all-gender bathrooms and “amenity zones for mobile work.”
The club is the fifth Delta has opened this year and will be the last that, according to the carrier. The Newark club joins new clubs at Kansas City International Airport, Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport.
In the new Newark terminal, Delta customers will have new kiosks equipped with self-tagging functionality for checked bags and a dedicated Sky Priority check-in area.
