Delta Air Lines will add new routes to Europe for summer
2024 as well as expand service to Australia and New Zealand beginning this
fall, the carrier announced Friday.
From New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Delta
on May 23, 2024, will add nonstop service to Naples, Italy, as well as relaunch
service to Shannon, Ireland, last operated in 2019. The carrier also recently
announced new
service beginning May 9 between Minneapolis-Saint Paul and Dublin. Delta
also will add a nonstop flight beginning April 9 between JFK and Munich,
Germany, operating three times per week.
The carrier plans to increase its weekly flights between
Atlanta and each Paris and Venice for the summer 2024 season, as well as
operate its Atlanta-Zurich route four times weekly beginning May 31.
From Los Angeles International Airport, Delta on Oct. 28,
2023, will extend its service to Auckland, New Zealand, to year-round service,
operating daily between November and March, and three times weekly from April
to October. It also in December will increase its Los Angeles-Sydney,
Australia, service to twice daily.
