Delta to Add Los Angeles-Auckland Route

Delta Air Lines on Oct. 28 will add service between Los Angeles and Auckland, New Zealand, the carrier announced Friday. It will be the only U.S. airline to provide nonstop service between the two cities, according to Delta. The route will be operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

In addition, Delta on May 12 will begin new daily service between Atlanta and Nice, France, with Boeing 767 aircraft. The carrier on April 16 also plans to increase its Atlanta-Tel Aviv service frequency to daily flights, and on May 25 will add a third daily flight between New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, also operating on Boeing 767 aircraft.

The Nice and Paris flights are in addition to Delta’s expanded European 2023 schedule, announced in September.
