Delta to Add New MSP-Copenhagen Route

Delta Air Lines beginning in May 2025 will launch direct seasonal service between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Copenhagen, Denmark, the carrier announced Friday.

The route will operate three times weekly with Airbus A330-300 aircraft configured with four cabins: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Comfort-Plus and Main Cabin. With the recent Delta-SAS codeshare agreement, each carrier’s customers traveling to Copenhagen from Minneapolis-St. Paul will have access to more than 80 destinations beyond Copenhagen, while those traveling to Minneapolis-St. Paul will be able to connect to more than 110 cities in the U.S. and Canada, according to Delta.

In addition, Delta also on Friday announced that it planned to relaunch in June 2025 nonstop service between Los Angeles and Shanghai, China, pending government approval. The route will operate three times weekly with Airbus A350-900 aircraft configured with four cabins. Delta this week opened a Delta One lounge at Los Angeles International Airport.
