Delta Air Lines is set to open on June 26 its premium Delta One lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, the first of three such premium lounges set to open in the U.S. this year, according to the carrier.
The new lounge is located between Concourses A and B in JFK’s Terminal 4, and at 39,000 square feet, it is larger than any Delta Sky Club, according to the carrier.
Delta in February announced it was developing the premium lounge, and on Tuesday said it remained on track to open Delta One lounges in Los Angeles International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport later this year.
The New York Delta One lounge includes such amenities as a 140-seat Brasserie restaurant, beverage cart service, a designated wellness area is equipped with nine reservable relaxation pods, shower suites and eight individual soundproof booths for business.
Delta in February said its Sky Clubs and Delta One lounges would be separate products that would be managed separately. The carrier opened a Sky Club in JFK in July.
