The carrier had resumed flights in March, but halted them again after Iran launched strikes on Israel in mid-April.
Delta’s flights between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Tel Aviv will resume June 7, which it had announced in March. The carrier will continue “to closely monitor the situation in Israel in conjunction with government and private-sector partners.”
American Airlines on Oct. 26 plans to resume direct service to Tel Aviv, the carrier confirmed to BTN on Wednesday. Prior to the suspension, American served Tel Aviv via JFK.
Several carriers suspended service to Israel after Hamas attacked the country on Oct. 7, 2023, and Israel subsequently launched an offensive in Gaza.
