The Dongfeng Glory is by far the most popular vehicle in Ethiopia.
For the first time ever on BSCB we have access to official sales data for Ethiopia, over the first 9 months of 2022. The models ranking is quite unique with a strong Chinese presence. By far the best-seller here is the Dongfeng Glory 330 enjoying a new life in Africa just as sales in China get weaker. The Toyota Land Cruiser 70 comes in 2nd place above the Karry K60 which is almost exactly the same model as the Glory 330. The Toyota Hilux and, surprisingly, the Peugeot 5008 round out the Top 5. Notice also the Huanghai N2 in 7th place, the Dongfeng Rich at #9 and the Indonesian Toyota Agya at #17.
